Mitsugi Saotome Shihan is the chief instructor of the Aikido Shobukan Dojo in Washington, D.C. and also serves as the supervisory instructor for more than 70 affiliated dojo of the international association, Aikido Schools of Ueshiba.

Hiroshi Ikeda Shihan is the founder and chief instructor of Boulder Aikikai, a non-profit school of aikido in Boulder, Colorado, USA.
Ken Nisson is one of the founders of Bond Street Dojo. He began studying with Saotome Shihan in 1976. He is currently head instructor at Aikido of Modesto, California.
Chris Jordan is the chief instructor of Bond Street Dojo. She began studying aikido in 1972 and joined the dojo shortly after its founding.
