Two Sword & Relationship to Taijutsu
Please join us for a weekend workshop of “Two Sword & Relationship to Taijutsu in Aikido” with Melissa Bell Sensei. We are honored to welcome back her back to the Bond Street Dojo mat. In this workshop she will explore Aiki-ken and two sword forms as taught by Mitsugi Saotome Sensei and the relationship and interconnection to our empty hand movements.
This will be a fundraiser seminar for the dojo. Thank you all for the support!
Cost: $100 pre-pay | $120 at the door | $35 per class

Melissa Bell Sensei (5th Dan)
Melissa Bell Sensei has taught Aikido weapons at the Aikido Annual ASU DC Summer Camp in Washington D.C. and the Annual ASU Winter Intensive in St.Petersburg, Florida. She is widely known for her work with the ASU weapons kata.
Melissa Bell Sensei is the Chief Instructor of the 12th Street Dojo in Sarasota Florida. Her training started in 1992 at the Aikido Shobukan Dojo in D.C. under Mitsugi Saotome Shihan and instructors including Patty Saotome Sensei and Frank Bell Sensei. She has also received the honor of the Ueshiba Juku designation from Saotome Sensei. Her cross-training has included Shotokan Karate (Shodan) under Rick Hotton. She has taught at the ASU Intensive seminars, throughout Florida and regional seminars across the country.
